Jean-François Roger Naval Architecte:
My working domain is naval architecture,
I was practicing as non professional by hobby until my ideas really started to be considered, then I have become a professional for one year.
I am currently working on a concept design of supply Offshore vessel.
And for concept and basic designs, your RhinoParametrics Rhino add-on software is formidably efficient and powerfull. I has also allowed me to continue to use Rhino + RhinoParametrics while I was starting to stop using "Rhino stand alone" product because of its limitations. With the improvements in last RhinoParametrics version 1.4.0, I will be able to save still more time and test various design concepts even so some naval architect parameters are not yet fully fixed.

William FRANCK of the engineering department of Rover-Yachts:
The inception of a sailboat is an iterative work so to obtain a correct dimension of the hull, the right positionning of breadth and draught in order to get the center of buoyancy in line with the current CG. Sails and mast geometry has to be refined, especially the mast's position. In such a workflow, RhinoParametrics gives us a true solution by letting the naval architect adjust all those very first parameters.
Our first drawings have been made by using solely RhinoParametrics's geometric functionalities. Just by moving a reference point, an angle or a reference distance, you will get your boat updated in seconds. No points selection for moving, no fastidious redrawing !
We've saved a lot of hours !
Once this iterative phase is over, you just continue your 3D modeling with the classic and powerfull Rhino3D functionnalities.
