To help us investigate a reported condition as best we can, please make sure you indicate :
- Version and language of your operating system
- Your PC's specifications, such as 32bit or 64bit, ram, graphics card details, etc.
- Rhinoceros version
- Plug-in version
- A description of the condition encountered, and whether it can be reproduced
- Send us your file(s), it/they will be treated confidentially
There are two files to upload in order to let us have the information we need to investigate the reported condition :
- .3dm : contains Rhinoceros data and information (geometry, preferences, ...)
- .grx : contains all the RhinoParametrics information
These two files bear the same name, but a different suffix.
Ex: MyParametricProject.3dm and MyParametricProject.grx
In extreme cases, for example if RhinoParametrics or Rhino were to crash, Rhinoceros will offer to send a bug report to McNeel.
Please do send it, and indicate in the message:
- Your email address
- The last command used
The bug report will be forwarded to us with detailed information about the crash.
Nevertheless, please also do send us the 3DM and GRX files, which will always help our investigation.
If a bug were to be identified, we will attempt to devise a work-around whilst working on a fix for the next release.
